All readers are invited to participate in one or more of the lively and thoughtful book discussions at Prosser Public Library. Copies of each title are provided to participants, in regular, large print, and audio (if available). Please register so we may obtain enough copies for all readers. The following book will be discussed this month:
Cane River, by Lalita Tademy (2001) follows four generations of African American women from slavery to the early twentieth century as they struggle for economic security and the future of their families along the Cane River in rural Louisiana.
